The LG G Flex is as the first smartphone to be really flexible (or almost). Yes I know, the Galaxy Round came out before him, but as you will see in the video below, the LG G Flex is different from the Galaxy Round and its curvature is much larger than the Samsung Smartphone. As indicated in the tester TheVerge, except that the device is curved, we immediately notice that its size is imposing its top 6 inches. Indeed, LG stated that the curvature of the screen made watching a lot more "immersive" film, but watching the video above, I am more inclined to say that this is mainly due to the large size of most Smartphone that offers a resolution of 720p HD. In reality, TheVerge indicates that newspaper, the curved design of the smartphone does not have a huge impact (positively or negatively) on the display of the screen. A screen that despite the low resolution, is still very good.
Regarding ergonomics, it is almost impossible to use the smartphone with one hand, unlike the Galaxy Round which, in turn, brings the two sides of the screen so that your thumb can reach the other edge of the screen, but this is another story. Furthermore, the shape of the LG G Flex does not allow it to be slipped easily into a front pocket.
In reality it does not really surprise me because no device 6 inches can slip comfortably into the front pocket of jeans, but I thought that it is curved will make a little less imposing. However, we note that the LG G Flex can still slip into the back pocket of trousers, if not to make a long walk with.
Anyway, apart from the particular shape of the screen and flexible battery, LG G Flex does not always present as a revolutionary smartphone, but more like a taste of what could have giants moment in the near future. Moreover, the LG G Flex as the Samsung Galaxy Round are considered prototypes that are sold in limited quantities. Marketing that will start on November 12 in Korea for the LG G Flex.
