You will not be surprised to learn that the S4 Galaxy Mini has the same design of the Galaxy S4, with a reduced footprint down . Nothing new since then Samsung has already made the way for S3 Mini . However, the look of the S4 resumes pretty much that of S3 , who himself served declination to an impressive number of models from Samsung last year. In short, the original will require ironing . However, do not think that the hull of the S4 Mini is exactly the same as the S3 Mini . The latest breaks a little curvy lines of its predecessor with a somewhat larger angles.

Side space , both models are quite similar , but there are still a little different . S4 Mini really turns end with 8.9 mm thick, 9.9 mm against the previous Mini . The new also shows a little longer, but a little narrower . The dimensions are roughly equal , the S4 Mini is still showing a bit more slender and elegant than its predecessor. However, it is important to stress that it has a larger screen with 4.3 inch against 4 inches.

For the hull , it's no surprise that we find the same polycarbonate plastic that covers every smartphone manufacturer for over a year. We are so far from the luxurious feel emerging products such as the HTC One or even Huawei Ascend P6 . However, the S4 Mini is not bad once in hand . Its ergonomics are very good because the range of the thumb covers smoothly across the screen. The quality of manufacture and assembly are impeccable . Note that a pattern quite discreet in brace, is embedded in the hull of the two versions available ( black and white ) . Invisible from a distance, it appears as one approaches the smartphone. The perception of this pattern also varies depending on the light.







Côté encombrement, les deux modèles restent assez proches, mais sont là encore un peu différents. Le S4 Mini s’avère vraiment fin avec 8,9 mm d’épaisseur, contre 9,9 mm pour le précédent Mini. Le nouveau se montre également un peu plus long, mais aussi un peu moins large. Les dimensions sont donc plus ou moins équivalentes, le S4 Mini se montrant tout de même un peu plus élancé et racé que son prédécesseur. Toutefois, il nous apparaît important de souligner que ce dernier propose un écran plus grand, avec 4,3 pouces contre 4 pouces.





Pour la coque, c’est sans surprise que l’on retrouve le même plastique polycarbonate qui couvre tous les smartphones du constructeur depuis plus d’un an. Nous sommes donc loin de l’impression luxueuse que dégagent des produits comme le HTC One ou même le Huawei Ascend P6. Toutefois, le S4 Mini n’est pas désagréable une fois en main. Son ergonomie est très bonne puisque le rayon d’action du pouce couvre sans problème l’ensemble de l’écran. La qualité de fabrication et l’assemblage sont irréprochables. Notez qu’un motif assez discret, en croisillon, est incrusté dans la coque des deux versions disponibles (noire et blanche). Invisible de loin, il apparaît à mesure que l’on se rapproche du smartphone. La perception de ce motif varie aussi en fonction de la lumière.
