Samsung denies cheating on benchmarks

Yes, the Galaxy Note 3 increases the CPU / GPU frequencies for certain applications. But no, it is not to be better placed in the test rankings, says Samsung.

Last week, Samsung was pinned by the site Ars Technica, who discovered a strange behavior at the CPU performance of Galaxy Note 3. Indeed, the Snapdragon chip seems to outperform only when test application is detected, as if the goal was to get a better grade in the benchmarks.
The South Korean manufacturer has now been split a formal denial. To Cnet UK, he said: "The Galaxy Note 3 maximizes the CPU / GPU frequency when some applications require a considerable performance. The aim was not to exaggerate some benchmark results. We always want to offer our customers the best possible user experience. "
It's simple, it's short, but not necessarily convincing.
