The Galaxy Gear from Samsung is nothing more than a small phone attached to your wrist. If it has its own applications as Snapchat and Pocket, it is actually possible to run all the applications created for Android.
Ron Amadeo unveiled the trick at Ars Technica and the question of why, he simply replied that he likes to play with Android. Nobody in the blame, but some fanboys.
The process is simple, you just have to enable USB debugging, and pre-load your applications from a computer. No downloads via the Play Store here.
From there, you can use the Galaxy Gear as a tiny Android phone. Or more accurately, a small tablet with Android Wi-Fi down.
In the meantime, good luck with your game of Candy Crush on this tiny little screen, you're a psychopath.
